Description

Your outer skin reflects your inner skin

Your health is a reflection of your microbiome. Your microbiome refers to all the microbes (good and bad) that is associated with your body (inside and out). Inulin is a superfood to the beneficial microbes. By stimulating the beneficial microbes, your microbiome becomes more diverse, balanced and able to resist inflammation and disease.

INULIN PREBIOTIC SUPERFOOD

Did you know that you are only 10% human cells and 90% microbes? Your microbiome influences every aspect of your health: digestion, brain, immune system, metabolism, weight, skin, etc.

Inulin is a soluble fibre that is a superfood (or prebiotic) for the beneficial microbes (probiotics) that make up your microbiome. Inulin-rich foods include onions, garlic, asparagus, Jerusalem artichokes, chicory and leeks.

Your microbiome is responsible for producing post-biotics, i.e. bioactive molecules with all the health promoting benefits you can think of. The gut-skin axis refers to the correlation between the health of your gut microbiome and the health of your skin. Inflammatory skin conditions like atopic dermatitis, rosacea, and psoriasis have a close link to gut dysbiosis.

▪ GENERAL DIGESTIVE HEALTH ▪ INTEGRITY OF GUT LINING ▪ ANTI-INFLAMMATORY. ▪ SUPPRESS HUNGER ▪ RELIEVES CONSTIPATION.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Inulin should be stored in a glass container. No refrigeration required.

IMPORTANT:

Start with low dosage (¼ tsp per day).

Increase the dose weekly by ¼ tsp over 12 weeks until you get to 1 tbs per day.

3 tsp = 1 tbs

Inulin has a slightly sweet taste. It is water soluble and can be added to water, coffee, tea, smoothies, etc.

Over-stimulating an imbalanced microbiome can cause gas and bloating and as a result abdominal discomfort.

Build your microbiome slowly! If you experience bloating, stay at the lower dose for 2-3 weeks before attempting to increase the dose again.

*People following a low-FODMAP diet should talk to their healthcare practitioner before incorporating inulin into their diet.
